Advertisement Flyer
While creating my advertisement flyer, I thought of a big event that a lot of people would be interested in attending. I thought the Cooper River Bridge Run event was perfect for my advertisement flyer. This idea gave me the opportunity to have a large audience because I would able to target every age group especially families. For the background, I used a beautiful, clear & crisp picture of the bridge which included the sky surrounding it, the cooper river beneath it, and the landscaping around its’ edges. The picture was very appealing because it beauty. It was perfect for catching the eye of my target audience. For creativity, I chose a picture a person running to symbolize the race. I isolated the picture from its original background so that it would not take away from the back ground picture. When I created the title of the event “33rd Annual Cooper River Bridge Run”, I added some creativity to the words “cooper” and “bridge” by overlapping two letters inside the words. I thought that the overall font that I chose for the flyer was perfect for delivering the intended message. I added a thick stroke around the text containing the date of the event so that it would stand out more and be hard for anyone to overlook. I also added a rule below and above the information text in order to make the flyer more appealing. I think I did a good job on creating this flyer as well. I didn’t want it to have too much creativity because it would take away from the message of the flyer.
